Well spring is on its way and ive noticed that the spring make up colours are arriving on the scene, here are a few of my favourites.

I love this its so pretty and the colours are all pastel so are the lipsticks and also the lipglosses and blusers etc.

These look super pretty and cute again in pastels, and I love the daisy motifs on the blusers and bronzers.

Cloud Nine Hair irons product review

 A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to be sent the Cloud Nine Irons to review, and I have to say these irons are pretty amazing in my opinion.

 First of all the packaging is eye catching in black and teal,  you open up the box which is very strong, not cheap thin cardboard, to reveal your gorgeous irons. Cloud Nine offer a standard, wide or mini iron, I was sent the standard as the wide plates would have been too wide for my short fine hair.

 The irons are black, no fancy gimmicks here, what you see is what you get, a good quality all singing all dancing hair iron. I was absolutely amazed and please with how long the plug wire is on these, great if your low on plug points plus it has a swivel cord, hence no more running around searching for an extension lead.. They also come complete with instruction manual, carry pouch and heat proof cover.

Cloud Nine claims that even at lower temperatures you can get super hairstyles on all hair types avoiding heat damage on your hair.

Firstly ide just like to say that if using heat on your hair especially from a straightening iron please use a heat protection spray, as it will protect the hair from damage.

My first impression was good,  they glided through the hair with ease Cloud Nine state that they have a secret ingredient that makes your hair shiny as you use them. They also as previously mentioned have different heat settings, I used mine on the low settings purely and simply because I have such fine hair due to medications illness etc.

To get volume from the roots I get the irons, pick the hair up from the roots hold for 5 seconds and then smooth through the rest of the hair then turning it under slightly when I get to the ends, thus giving the hair, lift at the roots and volume, something that I did get with my old straighteners but the style never held within half an hour  it always dropped. But with these babies the style  stays, don't ask me how it just does its amazing. And with no back combing which is bad for the hair. My hair looks shinier and healthier not to mention fuller. I also used them on my daughter to create curls and they worked equally as well, therefore showing that you can create a whole range of styles and finishes.

The iron also contains a hibernation mode meaning that if you don't pick up the irons for 10 Min's it automatically switches off, then will only heat up again if you switch them on, no more worrying on the way to work if you switched your irons off.

They also have a special chip on them (see pic) with a unique number in it to ensure its not a fake, as there seems to be so many fake GHDs out there at the moment.

The Cloud Nines were made by the original makers of GHDs and apparently Cloud Nine did a research study in 2009 to compare opinions between GHDs and Cloud Nines, when asked which irons they preferred 68% said they preferred Cloud Nines.

My Valentines day picks, eyeshadows for smokey eyes

Well with Valentines day just around the corner for those of you lucky enough to have an admirer who wants to take you out, well youl want your make up to be just right.

But I hear you say do I go for the smokey look, dramatic or pretty.

Well here are some ideas ive researched for a smokey look and  the key to the perfect smokey eye is proper blending. You want to make sure colors are blended together flawlessly. Also, it's important to pair light base colors with rich dark colors. Nice mixes include: Soft gold base with deep purple on top, champagne base with bright blue and peach base with green hue etc.

The above shades from Bourjois would be perfect for a smokey look, but dont forget if playing up the eyes then you need to keep your lippy more subtle.

Anna Lou Alice in Wonderland Key Necklace

Mac Soiree nail polish from the Cham pale range

Hi everyone, a little late posting this post, sorry. Not been to well with the dreaded flu like bug (poor me) and have been nursing myself better.

Anyway Macs latest Ltd edition reange was cham pale I got three things, two paint pots and one nail polish in Soiree, which is a very pale gold colour.

At first I wasnt too keen as it seemed a very pale gold, but I have to say its now grown on me.

One thing I did find is I took it off tonight and it seemed stubborn, it really didnt want to come off, weird, not sure if any one else has had the same prob.

Anyway thought ide post a few pics here of the varnish.

By the way, have you seen the new Mac Ltd edition range coming out in Feb I think, its wonder woman, and I cant wait, being a sucker for cute packaging and remembering wonder woman when I was a child lol, then im sure to love it.

Lush important info

Hi everyone, for those of you who dont already know and im sure most of you do this is for you. I had an email from Lush stating that their website has been hacked and any body who oredered on the internet between October 2010 and January 2011 must contact their banks.

What a scary situation this must be not only for Lush but also for all those people who have been a victim of these hackers, not to mention the inconvenience of having to cancel cards etc then waiting for new ones to come.

These evil hackers will stop at nothing.

I dread to think how much this will affect Lush business as well as I would think the majority of buyers purchase from the internet as its not eveyone who has a Lush store close to home.

At the moment Lush have a single web page explaining what has happened and also saying that you can order using a seperate phone number.

Its a sad world when people think they can do this, shame on you evil hackers.

My diet update

Well guys like most people the new year brings new and fresh resolutions, well mine is the diet lol. Im a chunky monkey and dream of being slim (not that that will ever happen), I think im just destined to be shall we say a more fuller figured woman.

What I decided to do is cut out mainly cards, as I was a sucker for bread and potatoes, so ive cut those out, and also lowered my sugar intake as I love fizzy pop, so bad for you.

Anyways since ive cut these bad boys out ive lost 4ilbs since 1st Jan, so its a start, ive also started walking the dog more now, although I do find with my health and my illness ive put the weight on so easily.

So far so good, so il try and keep you peeps updated on the diet, hee hee.

The Tua Trend review

I purchased this product last year from QVC because I had had my eye on it for a while and had heard some decent reviews about it, not to mention the fact that it was on maximum multi pay, meaning I could spread the cost over 4 payments with no interest.

I was excited to receive my package and when it arrived I had to use it that night. The product comes with instructions a CD a charger, some spare pads and a bag to put it all in. 

This is the most advanced professional-grade device for home-use from award winning brand Tua.  Tua tre'nd is intelligent: there are five specific programs for treating the five zones of your face - 1. forehead/brow, 2. eye area, 3. upper cheeks/lower cheeks, 4. jowl area, 5. chin/jaw line/neck.  With Tua tre'nd each of your five facial zones has its own pre-programmed special micro current tailored to the thickness and density of the facial muscle in that zone.  This provides the optimal treatment because your cheek muscle for example is very thick compared to the thin muscle of your eye area

Its supposed to give you a more firmer, lifted and tighter area, and as I'm now getting on a bit, I felt I needed this.

You start off on a lower setting all  you have to do is choose the facial zone you want to treat, start the program, place the wand to that facial zone (with wet contact pads using ordinary tap water), increase the intensity to what's comfortable for you and ...relax. Perfect for doing in front of the TV. In only 20 minutes you will have treated your entire face and your neck. And that's what I do I use it while watching TV, or just before I get into bed before I put on my night cream.

Its not sup rising that the Tua Trend has won so many awards, as its like a mini home face lift in a bag, I love it and I've had a few comments from people lately saying I look well.

If you do get one, be prepared to be pulling some funny faces as the EMS electrical current stimulates the facial muscle your working on making it contract, but one you get used to it, its fine and I now look forward to using it as I actually find it relaxing.

What I would say to any one who is thinking of purchasing is don't expect immediate results, you have to work at it and it can take a few months before you start to see a result as everyone is different.

Girls with Attitude nail stickers/decals

I was sent these pretty nail art stickers by Girls with Attitude to review, they very kindly sent me a an assortment of stickers.

I love these they are so pretty and come in an arrangement of different patterns colours etc

The only problem I found was getting them off the sticky sheet and on to my nail without ruining the desighn this did take a few goes I must admit, so some were wasted only a few though.

I tried tweezers and you have to be so careful as there very delicate.

After I had put them on I put some top coat over them to seal them.

These lasted for ages so was very impressed with that, and also the sparkle on the nail was amazing and extremely pretty.

Girls with attitude also do a range of false eyelashes as well, they have recently been featured in a lot of mags for their lashes especially the burlesque ones.

Vera Wang Princess

This perfume is soo beautiful pretty and feminine, it is very light and floral.

This set comes in a pretty presentation box with a pretty pattern on it, which exudes femininity.

This is the Ltd edition set I had for Christmas as it also has aprt from lotion etc a ltd edition tiny handbag bottle, its soo sweet I love it.

It seems a shame to put it in my handbag as it gets rather full of shall we say junk lol, so on that score im saving it for those nights when your going somewhere special with a little handbag, so I can slip it in with out it getting ruined.

I had so many perfume type pressies this xmas im certainly going to smell nice.

Cute little Kitsch ring from Ebay

I was browsing through ebay when I came across the cute little lippy ring, I thought it soo sweet and it was only £3.00 including the postage so I bought it, it came yesterday and thought ide show it to you all, unfortunately I have rather chubby sausage fingers so it only fits my pinkie finger as its not adjustable still cute though, would look stunning with black.

All I can say is this is huge containing approx 25 pieces of soap n glorys best seling products, this Christmas pressie is amazing.

I first saw this in Boots on their offer of the week, as they were doing an offer of the week on the build up to Christmas and this was selling for an amazing £25.00 yes you heard right, and their is over £60.00 worth of products in here, including a storage box and a huge bag.

It also contains the big sizes of products not the small or trial size ones, I love it ive just used the glad hair day shampoo, the smell lingers on your hair its truly sumpteous.

I think this has to be one of the best colossal offers that soap n glory has ever done

Lush Boxing day sale whoop whoop

Well I couldnt resist going to the boxing day sale at Lush with my daughter, and as most of you know my daughter has a broken leg in 2 places at the moment, so off we went me pushing her wheelchair, well you should of seen me pushing her through some snow, I couldnt stop giggling, then I rather nice man came and helped us, think I should get an L plate lol, well it was well worth the push as we got some goodies, we got, the Ginger bread house,stardust and the Merry christmas darling gift sets all half price, so its safe to say we are now more than stocked up lol, think well be smelling Lush.

I had some lovely Christmas presents including the Bee Luscious Garden Girl Palette, I had been lusting after this for a long time, but didnt purchase due to the high price tag of £67.50.

But I have to say the quality is exceptional in my opinion, the eye shadows go on like a dream and blend superbly, the colours are amazing and come in lots of different finishes.
