It's snow joke

Well as most of you know the snow has been bad here in the uk, and yesterday I had a phone call to say that my daughter had slipped on the icy pavement and was being taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg.
I left for the hospital and she was obviously in a lot of pain when I got there, they had to cut her boots and leggings off and she was having gas and air and morphine for the pain.
Apparantly she had just left work and had decided to stop at the shop on her way home and that's when she slipped. I spent most of yesterday afternoon at the hospital didn't get home till midnight, and am back there now as she may have to have an operation.
She has broken her leg in two places the tibia and her ankle and it's not as straight forward as a normal break as it's called a spiral fracture where the bone snaps then twists so it's harder to put back together. There talking about putting a metal rod and plate in their to alighn the bones. Il keep you all posted

Ojon Volumizing Collection

Ojon 3 Piece Volumizing Collection

I bought this when it was a to days special value on QVC UK because as most of my readers know due to illness and medication etc my hair has gone very fine, therefore im always on the look out for anything that promises volume.
Give your hair the treatment it deserves and say goodbye to bad hair days with the help of the Ojon three-piece Volumising Collection. Limp, lifeless hair will receive a welcome boost with this collection that includes Hydrating Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner. Ideal for anyone with fine, flyaway hair, both help to give hair volume, body and manageability, so it has natural movement. The anti-static formula hydrates without weighing hair down, and the ever popular Tunu Paste gives incredible root lift and flexible hold.
Collection contains:
  • Hydrating Thickening Shampoo 250ml
  • Hydrating Thickening Conditioner 250ml
  • Tunu Paste 100ml
Key features:
  • Help to give limp, flyaway hair, volume and manageability
  • Maintains hair's natural movement
  • Anti-static formula hydrates without weighing down
  • Tunu Paste gives root lift and flexible hold
To use:
  • Shampoo and condition, dry and style as normal
  • To finish your look take a small amount of Tunu Paste, warm it between fingers and apply to roots
  • Massage to achieve desired additional volume.
  • Ideal for anyone with fine, limp hair that wants manageability and volume
Ive used this a couple of times now and I really like it as it does what it says on the tin so to speak. It also leaves my hair shiny and as I have dry brittle hair thats a first for me.

You only need the tiniest of amounts as a little goes along way and I believe this collection will last along time.

I also liked the fact that alot of volumous conditioners actually weigh the hair down, well this dosent at all. My hair felt full and bouncy.

Would I purchase again ? yes I would

UK news weather getting worse

Headline Photo
Drivers and pedestrians make their way through the centre of York
Large areas of Britain have been brought to a halt as the big freeze tightened its grip on the nation.
Two major airports - Edinburgh and Gatwick - have closed, with motorists and rail passengers also experiencing severe disruption.
A spokeswoman for Gatwick Airport said: "We brought in extra people to try to clear the runway. We had a vast army of people. But as fast as they were clearing the snow, the quicker it settled again."

Review on Face Atelier Foundation

Hi everyone I recently added a post on here regarding reviewing the Face Atilier foundation. Well I decided to try it out on a day when I was at work so I could really put this to the test.

First of all it went on like a dream I actually started to apply the foundation with a Sigma brush but it seemed to like being applied with the fingers. Now one of the beauties of this foundation is that you don't need to apply a primer to the face before application of the foundation as it has silicones built into it, and it went on like a dream, and you only need the tiniest of amounts.

Now you're all probably thinking what was the coverage like. Well as most of you know I have a small amount of freckles and on first application it covered them but they were still a little noticable so I applied a thin layer of second coat and this did the trick no probelm. After applying the foundation I wondered if I should apply some powder. Well I actually decided that I should as I thought I looked a little to dewy/ shiny. So I applied a thin coat of translucent powder. And applied the rest of my make up.

Did it last the day? Well the answer is yes and no although I must admit It felt very light on the skin and not cakey at all. I did go a tad shiny and it did feel at times as if when I touched my face it would come off, although I have to say that when I got home and looked in the mirror I did still look fresh, I think because it feels so light your thinking it's come off when in fact it hasn't.

I was sent three samples to try Sepia Honey and Tan. I think tan would suit me in the summer when I've been on holiday but I used the Honey to try out as it was closest to my own skin tone.

Over all I would say that it did stay the test of time all day but at £32.00 would I purchase a bottle? Yes I would, but I think IDE wait till the summer as I like the light weight feeling on the skin. I also think if you have oily skin then I might think twice because of the built in silicones might make you look a little shiny. You get 30ml bottle for £32.00 and can be ordered via www. cultbeauty.co.uk or www.cocobeau.co.uk.

 Thanks for Reading

Girls with attitude nail art

Hi everyone. I was sent these nail art stickers etc for review purposes by Girls with Attitude recently. I am going to be posting a revue on these soon as they look so pretty in fact I cant wait to using them and letting my imagination run wild.

On first look they look very pretty and fool proof to use, they sent me three samples including the little stones. And you can also use them on your toes and that would look so pretty for the summer or the party season.

So keep watching for an honest review on these.  Meanwhile you can save 25% when you spend £10.00 for a limited time only go to www.girlswithattitude.co.uk and look at the range as they also sell false eyelashes.

With love
Amanda xoxo
