Foundation application and tinted moisteriser

Before applying you foundation its a good idea to apply a good primer first, as this will help smooth skin and act as a base for your foundation to sit on, so it dosent slip etc. Make sure you have a foundation that is right for your skin tone.Apply more light layers of foundation then build up to cover over the areas that need more.
There are lots of ways to apply your foundation either using fingers, foundation brush, beauty blender (i love this) or using a damp make up sponge. Play around to see what suits you best.
If you prefer not to go down the foundation route and prefer something a little lighter for the summer, why not try a tinted moisteriser there are some really good ones on the market now packed with vitamins for the skin and some with sunscreen built in, check before buying if thats what you want. These look great with a tan.
When using a tinted moisteriser I like to add a little bit of Benefits posy tint on the cheek area as you can also use this on your lips and it looks pretty and more natural.

What do you like to use, foundations, tinted moisterisers etc, or are you someone who likes foundations in winter and tinted moisteriser in summer?
